Betty Jo Tomberlin, 70, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, September 19, 2026, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with Pastor Keith Milton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald.
Miss Tomberlin was born October 3, 1955, in Polk County, Florida, to the late Joseph Milton & Lillian Lucille Griffin Tomberlin. She enjoyed spending time at Sunny Dale Training Center where she loved to color and draw, do work with her hands, and weave. She attended Midway Baptist Church in the Holt community.
She is survived by several cousins and extended family along with special friends from Sunny Dale Service Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert W. Solomon, Jr, and Marion Tomberlin.
