Robert Allen Harrington, 63, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at his home with his loving wife, Nancy, by his side. He was born on April 18, 1963, in Pontiac, MI, a son of Robert Harrington and Shirley (Rakowski) Steinkopf. Robert was a resident of Londonderry for the past 14 years, having formerly lived in Muskegon, MI.
After graduating from Grand Haven High School in 1981, he pursued a career in construction. He started his own construction company and even built his very own home. In 2006, he moved to New Hampshire, where he also worked in construction. Prior to his cancer diagnosis and during his six years of treatment, he continued to work as a site manager for Hutter Construction in New Ipswich, NH.
Bob was very adventurous and enjoyed many hobbies with his friends, including golf, big game hunting, fishing, hiking, photography, woodworking, and cooking. His pride and joy was driving his 2020 Shelby Mustang GT350 Heritage Edition. In his free time, he dedicated himself to helping others as a friend of Bill W.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (LeBlond) Ercha; his father, Robert Harrington and wife Cindy; his mother, Shirley Steinkopf and husband David; stepson, William Lannon and wife Jenn; step-granddaughter, Kaylee Lannon; three sisters, Terry Winters and husband Harold, Susan Findley and husband Scott, and Darlene Timmer and husband Rick; brother-in-law, Eric Cygan; Nancy’s three siblings, Jerry LeBlond and his companion Mary Beth, Rachel Conrad, and Roger LeBlond and his wife Linda; his six nieces and nephews, Ryan Cygan, Lauren Cygan, Jacob Grow, Zachary Grow, Morgan Grow, and Corbin Grow; one great-grandniece, Aspyn; as well as many aunts, uncles, and extended family members. He was predeceased by an infant brother, Thomas Michael Harrington.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Catholic prayer service will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mass General Brigham Development Office, 399 Revolution Drive, Suite 1330, Somerville, MA 02145, for cancer research.
