Cerbone, Peter F., 76, Brighton, MA passed away at Boston Medical Center on
February 26, 2026, after a short battle with liver cancer. He is predeceased by his
parents, Frank Cerbone and Anna (Bux) Cerbone. He is survived by his daughter,
Jean Vardaro, his son-in-law, Joseph and his grandchildren, Kristina, Matthew and
Ryan Vardaro as well as his great-granddaughter, Madison Panzieri.
Peter graduated from Somerville High School in 1967. After graduation, Peter
enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country for six
years. After Peter was discharged from the Navy, he went to work for Container
Corporation for the next 20+ years, which he loved working for.
Peter had a love for martial arts, all of the Boston sports teams (especially the
Bruins), history and Western’s. He was a loving and caring person but was also a
very passionate person about topics that were important to him. He will forever be
missed and loved.
