Therese O. (Bienvenue) Normand, 83, of Manchester died September 25, 2006 at Villa Crest Nursing & Retirement Community after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on April 5, 1923, she was the daughter of Alphonse and Alice (Tessier) Bienvenue. She lived in Manchester most of her life and in Haines City, FL for 12 years..
She worked in Manchester at Pandora and J.F. McElwain Shoe Company for many years. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family.
Mrs. Normand was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Jutras Post 43. She enjoyed working with her hands including sewing, knitting, crocheting and other artistic needle arts.
She was married 52 years to Alphee J. Normand who died in 2000.
IN HER LIFE: She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was always willing to be included in trying new activities. The family includes three sons, Alphonse A. Normand of Manchester, Richard A. Normand and his children, Cory, Morgan and Keaton all of Manchester; George P. Normand and his children, Brian and Kelly all of Manchester; three daughters, Rita Colby and her husband, Tom and their daughter, Elyse all of Manchester; Pauline Stone and her husband John and their children, Mikala and Chris all of Manchester and Paulette Normand-Paquin and her husband, Denis of Exeter; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass of Christian burial was held Thursday September 28, 2006 Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
