Anna M. (Sarnie) Manganiello passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William T. Manganiello, with whom she shared decades of devotion, laughter, and a house full of noise—though she was known to relish the peace, quiet, and full control of the TV remote in her later years.
A woman of warmth, sharp wit, and strong opinions, Anna loved large family and friend gatherings, provided everyone eventually went home. She leaves behind a family who meant the world to her — except between 7:00 and 8:00 PM, when Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune were on.
Mother of William Manganiello and his wife Ellen of Taunton, David Manganiello and his wife Robin of Roslindale, Andrea DuBois and her husband Michael of Roslindale, and Alex Manganiello and his wife Celeste of Winchester.
Grandmother of Erica Burrows, David and Thomas Manganiello, Gregory and Brian DuBois, and Harris, Sophia, and Owen Manganiello. Great-grandmother of Julian and Lola.
Sister of the late Andrew Sarnie and Joseph Sarnie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Julie Sarnie Reed and Richard Sarnie, as well as extended family and friends.
Mimi will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Tuesday, September 15th from 9-11am followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale at 11:30am. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Anna’s memory may be made to Sacred Heart Parish School, 1035 Canterbury St., Roslindale, MA 02131.
