Rayann VanDine, age 47, of North Stonington, passed away Saturday evening at Kent County Hospital in Warwick, RI.
Rayann was born in New London on May 28, 1959 the daughter of Theralene (McCue) VanDine of North Stonington and the late Raymond VanDine Sr. She was a 1977 graduate of Stonington High School.
She served as Vice President of Quality Plumbing Inc. of Warwick for the past 4 years, where she will be greatly missed by the entire “Quality Team”. She was also a 22 year employee of Delta Airlines, working at Anchorage, Dallas, and Providence.
Known for her love of life, Rayann enjoyed arts & crafts, and excelled at event planning. She was also a caring, devoted daughter.
She is survived by her mother, Theralene VanDine of No. Stonington, CT; a brother, Raymond VanDine Jr., her beloved pets, Jonathan, Cujo, and Truffles, her extended Canadian family, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her many friends.
Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Friday from 9am-10:30am. A procession will then proceed to a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church, East Main Street, Mystic at 11am, with Fr. Brian Romanowski, celebrating. Burial will follow in the family plot at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic.
