Sergio Perez Nieto, age 54, of Michoacán, Mexico, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Sergio devoted 25 years of his life to working in construction, taking great pride in his work and in providing for those he loved. One of the special joys of his career was having the opportunity to work alongside his children, creating cherished memories and sharing his knowledge and experience with them. Above all, he will be remembered for his devotion to his family and the love he shared with them.
He was the beloved son of Adan Perez and the late Virginia Nieto. He was the loving husband of Maria Guadalupe Ramirez, with whom he shared 34 beautiful years of marriage.
Sergio was a cherished father to Sergio (Stacie), Bryan (Marisol), Virginia, and Natalie. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to Logan, Anais, and Sophia, who brought great joy and happiness to his life.
He was a dear brother to Rafael, Jose Armando, Gustavo, Manuel, Alicia, Maria Elena, Martha, Susana, and Juan Francisco, and the late Ana Maria.
Sergio will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched, the lessons he shared, and, most of all, through the family he loved so dearly.
He is now reunited with his beloved mother, Virginia, and his sister, Ana Maria, and rests peacefully in their loving embrace.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 13, 2026 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S Mozart.

Sergio dedicó 25 años de su vida al trabajo en la construcción, sintiendo un gran orgullo por su labor y por poder brindarles a sus seres queridos. Una de las mayores alegrías de su carrera fue tener la oportunidad de trabajar junto a sus hijos, creando recuerdos entrañables y compartiendo con ellos sus conocimientos y experiencia. Por encima de todo, será recordado por su dedicación a su familia y por el amor que siempre compartió con ellos.
Fue el querido hijo de Adan Perez y de la fallecida Virginia Nieto. Fue el amado esposo de Maria Guadalupe Ramirez, con quien compartió 34 hermosos años de matrimonio.
Sergio fue un padre amoroso y querido de Sergio (Stacie), Bryan (Marisol), Virginia y Natalie. También fue un orgulloso y cariñoso abuelo de Logan, Anais y Sophia, quienes llenaron su vida de alegría y felicidad.
Fue un querido hermano de Rafael, Jose Armando, Gustavo, Manuel, Alicia, Maria Elena, Martha, Susana y Juan Francisco, y de la fallecida Ana Maria.
Sergio será profundamente extrañado por su familia y por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y amarlo. Su recuerdo permanecerá siempre en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron, en las enseñanzas que dejó y, sobre todo, en la familia que amó con todo su corazón.
Hoy descansa en paz, reunido nuevamente con su querida madre, Virginia, y su hermana, Ana Maria, y envuelto para siempre en su amor.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el domingo 13 de septiembre de 2026, de 3:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m., en Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S Mozart.
Habrá estacionamiento adicional disponible en Five Holy Martyrs, 4327 S Richmond.
La Misa de Funeral se celebrará el lunes 14 de septiembre de 2026 a las 10:30 a. m. en Immaculate Conception, 2745 W 44th St.
El entierro será privado.
