Chris M. Cavanaugh, 71, of Haverhill, MA, died Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was born on June 9, 1955, in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Joseph Solly, Angela (Frasca) Cavanaugh and Timothy Cavanaugh. He was a resident of Haverhill for the past 34 years. Chris was a proud US Marine veteran and worked as an office solutions specialist for Superior Office Solutions.
He is survived by his son, Chris T. Cavanaugh of Manchester, NH; his partner, Valerie Tuminowski of Derry, NH; his sisters, Eleanor Collins and Lisa Iovino; and his nephew and niece, Jarad Waring and Kelley Mesiti.
Following cremation, the family will hold services at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry.
