
GILFORD ---- It is with profound sadness that the Bourgeois family announces the passing of Paulette Marie (LaFlamme) Bourgeois on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, after a long illness. She passed peacefully in her sleep with her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert "Bob" Bourgeois, by her side.
Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, daughter of Robert and Claire (Vallee) LaFlamme. She was predeceased by her sisters Anne Marie, Christine and Denise. She and Bob raised their family in Bedford, NH, and eventually retired to Gilford, NH, and Sarasota, FL.
Paulette was the heart of her family. Whether hosting a holiday celebration or a simple family dinner, she welcomed everyone with warmth, generosity, and kindness. She had a distinguished coaching career which earned her induction into the Saint Anselm College Hall of Fame in 2006.
Paulette cherished her role as wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Bob; her sister, Madeleine and husband Danny D'Amour; her son, Marc and wife Heidi Bourgeois, their children, Trey and Anya; her daughter, Cheryl and husband Steve Petran, their daughter, Daniela; her daughter, Kim and husband Lee Corsack, their daughters, Cheralynn and Gwen; along with several beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
The family also extends heartfelt gratitude to Paulette's devoted caregivers, Emily, Paula, and Shirly, whose kindness, compassion, and friendship brought comfort to her and became a blessing to the entire family.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 12:00pm noon at St. Andre Bessette Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH, all are welcome to attend.
A Private family burial will take place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers, can be made her name to the Alzheimer's Association, 320 Nevada Street Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.
