Rejeanne Plourde, 89, of Derry, NH, passed away Monday August 31, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 20, 1936 in New Brunswick, Canada. Rejeanne was one of eighteen children of the late Alec and Irene (Martin) Caron.
Rejeanne was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, whose greatest joy came from the moments she shared with her family. She was the backbone of the family, when they decided to move from Canada to the US in search of a better life.
Cooking wasn’t just one of Rejeanne’s greatest passions- it was her love language. She always made sure her family were well fed with food she prepared lovingly. She was a devoted Catholic who prayed her Rosary up until her final days.
She is survived by her four sons, Adrien and his wife Raymonde, Jacques, Julien and Robert and his wife Maryclaire; her three daughters, Pierrette and her husband Jackie, Gisele, and Nancy and her husband Jamie.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, as well as her brother Enoil and her sisters, Lucille, Alma, Simone, Bernadette, Corinne, Suzanne, Jacqueline, and Denise; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by brothers, Claude, René, Benoit, Robert, and Lucien; sisters, Jeannine, Marthe, Rena and Annette; and a grandson, John.
