Josephine Colucciello, a longtime Woburn resident passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, August 30, 2026 at her home. She was 75. Josephine was the beloved wife of Luigi Colucciello and together they shared 54 years of marriage. Born in Santa Caterina Villarmosa, Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Grazia (Stella) Inglisa.
Josephine immigrated to the United States with her family as a young girl and settled here in Woburn where she has resided ever since. For many years Josephine was instrumental in helping operate and run several family businesses. A devoted wife, mother and Nonna, Josephine cherished her role as Nonna and helping to rase and care for her grandchildren. She was a tremendous cook making everything from scratch with Sicilian traditions. She was truly at her happiest when she was surrounded by family and those she loved.
In addition to her beloved husband Luigi, Josephine is survived by her children, Teresa Sharp and her husband Michael of Woburn, Linda Covert and her husband Keith of Woburn, Paolo Colucciello and his wife Diana of Woburn, Giuseppe Colucciello and his wife Daralyn of Derry, NH. She was the loving Nonna of Jonathan, Shawn, Matthew, Marc, Cora, Christian, Antonio, Givanni, and Aviana. Cherished sister of Gene Inglese and his wife Nella of Wilmington, Lilla Forbes and her husband Scott of Billerica, Tina DeRosa and her husband Barry of Berkley, MA. She is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Thursday, September 3rd, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday morning, September 4th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church 280 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
