
Edward P. Wilk, 56, of Charlton died Tuesday, August 25th at home. He leaves his mother, Kathleen M. (Johnson) Wilk of Worcester and his beloved cat, Houdini. He was predeceased by his daughter, Katriana Wilk and his father, Stanley Wilk.
He was born in Worcester and attended Doherty High School. Edward worked as a laborer for several area construction companies. Edward was an accomplished painter. Edward will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature and the compassion he showed to those around him. He had a special love for animals and truly enjoyed their companionship.
Some of Edward’s most cherished moments were the simple ones, especially spending time at the lake behind his home with his mother. Whether relaxing by the water or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings together, those moments held a special place in his heart.
Above all, Edward was a kindhearted person. His gentle spirit, love for animals, and the quiet moments he shared with those closest to him will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.
His funeral is Wednesday, September 2nd with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester followed by burial in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester.
