Devoted and loving husband to Nancy E. Winn Lyons. Cherished son of Irene Lyons (Cachnuni) and Thomas F. Lyons. Dear brother of Kimberly Benoit and her husband Peter and Thomas Lyons. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
Chris was just 59 years young. He graduated Wentworth Institute and went on to be a Mechanical Engineer with Baker Hughes who were very good to him during his battle with Cancer . He was a machinist and an Engineer with Masonelian in Avon, Ma for many years, Then with GE.
He belonged to local 470 UAW, he was an honored Eagle Scout and member of the K of C.
Chris was as generous as he was kind and helpful. He would often pay the checks in restaurants for a veteran or someone who just seemed down on their luck.
Chris took great care of his brother Tom until the day he went to God. He also made his Mother in law’s last years on earth so very special , they were true pals. He would often crack a great joke to breakup any seriousness in a meeting at work or out with his friends, we always had a great laugh.
Chris still loved to drive up to Hampton Beach where he could walk forever and then eat at his favorite seafood place Browns. With his bright smile and gleaming brown eyes he was just a great guy. Anyone who knew and loved him is better for it.
