Roxana Ivette Hernandez, of Everett, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was 46 years old. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, she was the cherished daughter of Jose Francisco Ascencio and Teresa (Hernandez) Ascencio of Everett.
Roxana cherished spending time with her family, beloved cousins, and dear friends who became family. With her warm and welcoming spirit, she made friends wherever she went and enjoyed a large and loving social circle. An avid New England sports fan and devoted animal lover, and true foodie, she loved cooking, traveling, and getting lost in a good novel. Roxana will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Roxana was the dear sister of Jose A. Ascencio and Ana E. Ludwig, and dear half-sister to Jose L. Ascencio, Jose F. Ascencio, Jr, Jose R. Ascencio, Antonio J. Ascencio, Ana G. Ascencio, and Violeta Ascencio. She was the loving aunt of Wyatt R. Ascencio, Adan L. Ascencio, Mary-Elen T. Ascencio, Blu R. Ascencio, Lucien E. Ludwig, and Lukas E. Ludwig. She was the devoted God mother of Emma R. Goslin and Lukas E. Ludwig.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, September 1, from 4-8PM, at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA, and again on Wednesday, September 2, at 9AM, followed by a Mass in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, MA, at 10AM. Interment will be private.
