Jimmie Ray Nichols, Jr., 58, of Abbeville, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, August 30, 2026, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Interment will be private.
Mr. Nichols was born March 4, 1968, in Irwinville, Georgia, to the late Jimmy Ray & Brenda Jean King Nichols. He was a fabricator for Stephens Brothers in Abbeville. He enjoyed fishing and riding dirt roads and four-wheelers. He was an artist and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Nichols of Abbeville; children: Kristina Morris & Dillon of Lakeland, Florida, Cameron Nichols of Winter Haven, Florida, Cheyenne Trinh of Winter Haven, Florida, and Ti Trinh of Kansas; grandchildren: Adrianna Nichols, Jace White, Rory Morris, Rowan Morris, Ky Olivetti, and Melody Nichols; brothers: Christopher Ray Nichols of Fitzgerald, Jimmy Nichols of Tifton and Timmy Nichols of Tifton; a sister, Linda Fern Clements of Fitzgerald; a nephew and nieces: Anthony Cheatham, Latosha Clements, Joyce Bryant, and Hannah Rae Montgomery.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
