Sandra Kathryn Desmond (Ayles) of Nahant, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026 at 88 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Desmond, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage.
Sandy is survived by her son Daniel and his wife Susan, son David and wife Elizabeth, son Michael and wife Kerry of Nahant and her cherished grandchildren: Victoria, Jennifer, Jacqueline, and Michael. She is also survived by her sister Sharon Anderson, nephew Rick and wife Sharon, nephew Eric and wife Kristina, great nieces Bridget and Sydney of Georgia, along with many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

The funeral will be held on Friday September 4th at 10:00 at Ellingwood Chapel in Nahant’s Greenlawn Cemetery, with burial to follow. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
