William Scott “Bill” Poole, 52, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, August 21, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center, in Nashville, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held 11AM, Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Englewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating. The family will greet friends following the services.
Mr. Poole was born October 25, 1973, in New Port Richey, Florida, to the late George Mark & Marlene Ann Helms Poole. Two of his greatest life achievements was graduating high school from Gulf High School in New Port Richey, Florida and participating on the Special Olympics team. He enjoyed word searches and watching television shows, his favorite were: wrestling, NCIS and Bar Rescue. Mr. Poole attended Englewood Baptist Church.
He in survived by his brothers: Michael Poole and J.R. Poole (Satin Williams), nieces: Shannon Reum, Amber Poole, and Baylee Poole, a nephew, Gaven Poole; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews; an uncle, Neal Poole (Sharon) and an aunt, Sharon Harnage (Paul). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; Buck & Justine Poole and Lowell & Frances Helms.
