Worcester – Raymond J. Mclaughlin, 78, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026 in the Hermitage Healthcare Center after an extended illness.
Ray leaves behind, his loving wife of 59 years, Donna P. (Haire) McLaughlin; a son, Raymond McLaughlin Jr. and his wife, Rhonda of Worcester; a brother, William McLaughlin and a grandson, Sean McLaughlin. He was born in Lawrence, MA son of the late John and Rosemary (Gallagher) McLaughlin and is also predeceased by a brother, John McLaughlin.
Ray graduated from South High School in Worcester and retired from the Siemens Company (Formerly Morgan Construction) in Worcester where he worked as a machinist. He looked forward to any opportunity he had to go bowling but whenever he was able to tinker with things around the house it always brought a smile to his face. Ray was a homebody at heart and enjoyed being with his family.
Funeral services are being held privately and are under the direction of Marchand memorial Homes, Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Services Memorial Chapel 33 Ward St. Worcester.
