Antonio J. Cestodio, 80, of Westport, peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, August 13, 2026 with family by his side. He was the husband of Anita J. (DeFreitas) Cestodio.
Mr. Cestodio was born in Fall River, son of the late Anthony Cestodio and the late Alexandria (Santos) Cestodio and had resided in Westport for most of his life. Prior to retirement, he worked construction for J.J. O'Brien of Waltham and he also owned/operated Anita's Trucking of Westport.
Survivors along with his wife include his 2 children: Antonio J. Cestodio of Westport and Rebecca Botelho and her husband Michael of New Bedford; his sister: Jane Medeiros of Westport; 2 grandchildren: Michael Botelho, Jr. and Austin Botelho; along with nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Joyce Araujo.
