SANBORNTON ---- Bruce Fogarty, 78, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at The Birches at Concord, NH.
He was born on March 13, 1948 in Laconia, NH, to Carleton and Pauline (Lowell) Fogarty.
Bruce proudly served in the US Navy as an Engineman. After leaving the Navy he worked for 45 years as a machinist at Wyman Gordon. But his true passion in life was his beautiful wife, with whom he was married to for 50 years, his three children, four grandchildren and of course a leisurely game of golf with friends. He spent many years coaching his children's sports and being an active supporter on the side lines ringing his ever-famous Fogarty “cowbell” and cheering louder than any other spectator. He showed up without fail. He was a devoted husband, an amazing Dad and the best Grandpa this world has ever seen.
He is survived by his daughters Kelly Acheson of Danville, NH and Coleen Grover of Goffstown, NH, son Travis Fogarty of Sanbornton, NH, grandchildren Asher Wood, Emaline Wood, Brogan Grover, and Finley Grover, brother Brett Fogarty of Laconia, and sisters Sharon Frazier of Gilford and Carleen Fontaine of Tilton. He also leaves behind life-long friends Tim Heath and brother and sister-in-law Mike and Theresa Perkins and their sons, Timothy and Joseph. He was predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen Fogarty.
A private graveside service will be held at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
