BADLISSI, Antoine, MD, of Watertown, passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 69.
Beloved husband of the late Jann K. Badlissi (Williams). Loving father of Joseph Badlissi of Watertown and Alex Badlissi and his fiancée, Bianca Rose, of Norwood. Cherished brother of Hayat Romanos of Watertown, Ibtesam Badlissi of Watertown, Gloria Dowli of Montreal, Canada, Nazli Lolo of Hasake, Syria, and Marah Jabbour of Lexington, Kentucky. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Antoine, known to many as Tony, dedicated his life to the care and well-being of others. He received his medical degree from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency at Cabrini Medical Center. Throughout his distinguished career, he became board certified in Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary Medicine.
Dr. Badlissi practiced at Carney Hospital in Dorchester for more than 25 years, where he served as Chief of Medicine and cared for countless patients throughout his career. He later transitioned to Atrius Health in Weymouth, Massachusetts, where he continued his commitment to providing compassionate medical care.
A visitation will be held at Saint Matthew’s Syriac Orthodox Church, 149 Park Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m., immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are kindly invited.
