Gail M. (Dercolo) Bellofatto, of Medford passed away on Monday, August 10th. She was 83. Born in Malden, she was the cherished daughter of the late Salvatore and Marion (Sasso) Dercolo.
Gail had a strong work ethic and was able to adapt too any job that came her way. She was employed at the Boston Leader clothing store, served as a manager at the Lendy’s Deli in Saugus, and at Dr. Jason M. Gilbert, MD, ophthalmologist in Medford where she retired from. When Gail was not working she enjoyed vacationing in Aruba.
Gail was the beloved wife of the late James Bellofatto. She was the devoted mother of Michael Bellofatto and the dear sister of the late Karen Solano, and the late Leonard Dercolo. Gail is also survived by her nephews Lenny, Paul and Steven.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St, Medford on Monday, August 17th from 9 AM to 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
