
SPRINGFIELD - Collette J. (Pineault) Ingram, 81, of the East Forest Park section of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Friday, August 7, 2026. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Fall River on February 4, 1945, a beloved daughter of the late Leopold and Rita (Fiola) Pineault. She lived in Fall River, Swansea, and Chicopee where she graduated from Chicopee High School, Class of 1963. She later moved to Hampden then settled in Springfield in 2003 where she lived the remainder of her life. She received her Cosmetology Certificate early in life, and eventually was the owner/operator of Collette's Hair Care which she continued to operate until the time of her passing. She was a communicant of Saint Mark's Episcopal Church in East Longmeadow where she was a member of the Alter Guild and served as an usher and greeter. She was a longtime volunteer and usher at the former Stage West in Springfield and currently at the Majestic Theater in West Springfield. She was a member of the former NAIC Investment Club. Collette enjoyed knitting on Monday mornings with her friends and always enjoyed traveling. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and her many friends. She leaves her loving and devoted son, Kurt M. Ingram of Springfield; she was affectionately known as "Gigi" to her cherished grandson, Brandon M. Ingram and his fiancée, Rachel Iannotti, and her four cherished great grandchildren, Kylee Ingram, Kevin Ingram, Aubrey Iannotti, and Levi Ingram, all of West Warwick, RI; her loving niece, Melissa C. Griffith of Atlanta, GA; her cherished grandnephew, Jordan C. Joe and his wife, Ariyana, of Warner Robins, GA; and her many dear cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving son, Kevin A. Ingram who was Called Home on June 23, 1992; her dear sister, Carolyn Griffith who was Called Home on March 6, 2021; and her "adopted" sister, Hortense Beaudry. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Saint Mark's Episcopal Church, 1 Porter Road, East Longmeadow, MA 01028 (Please meet directly at the Church). Her Burial will follow at Old Cemetery, 47 Chapin Road, Hampden, MA 01036.
