Darvin L. Everett, 63, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dusty Stoey officiating and Steven Everett will deliver a eulogy. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Church Cemetery, Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Mr. Everett was born August 20, 1962, in Baxley, Georgia, to the late Lyman Clayson Everett and Gwendolyn Eason Everett. He worked 20 plus years for the Winn-Dixie Company and recently retired after working 15 years as a Sales Representative with Frito-Lay. Mr. Everett enjoyed fishing and enjoyed watching sports, especially Georgia football and the Atlanta Braves baseball. He was of Baptist faith, loving husband, daddy, grandfather, son and brother.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Judy Page Everett; his sons and their spouses: Steven Everett (MeLisa) of Fitzgerald, Josh Everett (Melinda) of McRae and Brad Everett (Savannah) of Gay; grandchildren: Lexie Everett, Payten Everett, Paisley Everett, Dalton Everett, Kennedy Everett, James Warren, Ava Everett and Baby Boy Everett due in February; a brother, Deryl Everett (Kathy) of Baxley, a niece, Melissa Johnson, a nephew Derrick Causey. In addition to his father, his is preceded in death by a brother, E.C. Everett and nieces: Nikki Hallman and Bridgette Garner.
