Shirley (Ann) Simpson Lincoln, 89 yrs old, of Santa Barbara, California passed away on July 27, 2026. She was born on Nov. 20, 1936 in San Francisco, California to Agnes and John Simpson. She graduated from Sequoia High School (Redwood City, CA) in 1954. She spent until 1998 in Redwood City, where she married and raised four children. Her generous spirit led her to take in teenage foster children as well as many others who needed a place to stay. Her home was always filled to the brim with people and laughter. She loved taking college courses, traveling the world, and making friends wherever she went. Her faith and involvement in her churches (especially Peninsula Covenant Church) were not only of extreme importance, but were instrumental in shaping her philosophy of life. She and her husband, Ken, retired and relocated to The Samarkand in Santa Barbara, Ca.
Shirley is survived by her son, Timothy (Rhonda) Lincoln of Long Beach, CA. Daughter Lori (Darrell) Richter of Meridian, ID. Daughter Anita (Mark) Wasdahl of Garden City, ID. Son Eric (Donna) Lincoln of San Luis Obispo. Her brother Robert (Joan) Simpson of Eugene, OR. As well as 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Lincoln and her parents, John and Agnes Simpson.
A memorial service will be held at Campus by the Sea next summer.
