Nancy M. (Galeazzi) Barkhouse, a resident of Brooksby Village in Peabody and beloved wife of the late Paul Barkhouse, passed away on Friday morning, August 7, 2026. She was 80 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on April 5, 1946, she was the beloved daughter of the late Leo J. and Rita M. (Jacklin) Galeazzi. Nancy was an avid reader and was a graduate of the North Andover High School and Bridgewater State College, where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Childhood Education. Nancy spent many years as a Pro Shop Manager, working beside her beloved husband, Paul a PGA Professional. Nancy enjoyed spending her winters in Palm Beach Gardens and Singer, Island, Florida. Nancy was a very dedicated and devoted wife and her favorite role was "Nani" to Savanna, Dagan and Vin. She will be dearly missed.
Nancy is survived by her loving daughter; Tracy L. Winter of Rowley, siblings; Richard L. and his wife Marianne C. Galeazzi of North Andover and Sharon L. Longo of Topsfield, best friend; Joanne MacInnis of Middleton, grandchildren; Savanna Winter of Dorchester and Dagan and Vin Winter, both of Ipswich and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be privately held. Donations in Nancy's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 320 Nevada Street, Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.
