Jean (Santos) Orcutt (69) of Brockton passed away peacefully at home on August 5th, surrounded by her loving family. Although she was transported to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, Jean took her final breath in the loving arms of her granddaughter, daughter, son, and granddaughter's boyfriend by her side.
She was born in Brockton, the daughter of William Santos and the late Jean (Beale) Santos.
Jean worked for Self Help Inc. in medical billing. She enjoyed watching television, especially her favorite show, Ghost Whisperer. Jean loved spending time with her family and found joy in the simple things in life. She loved making brownies, baked macaroni, and meatloaf, and could always enjoy her favorite Reese’s treats. She also enjoyed doing word searches and spending time visiting her mother at the cemetery, where she would lovingly place different decorations on her mother’s grave.
Jean’s greatest joy was her family, and she will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her and the special memories she created with them.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving son, David Orcutt of Brockton; her daughter, Melissa Orcutt of Brockton; three brothers, William Santos and wife Ellie of Wareham, Richard Santos of Florida, and Bobby Santos of Taunton; three grandchildren, Kyle Gonzalez and wife Richa Gonzalez, Kaylee Gonzalez and boyfriend Azariah Harbinson, and Caleb Orcutt; and two nephews, Richard Santos Jr. and Jason Santos. She was the sister of the late Jonathan Santos.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Friday, August 21st, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
