It is with deep sadness that the family of Michael Robert Prentice announces his passing on August 1, 2026 in Santa Paula, California, at the age of 72.
Born and raised in Ventura, Mike was a devoted husband, beloved brother, uncle and great-uncle, and a cherished friend to many. He will be remembered for his love of family, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golf, and the many lifelong friendships he treasured.
A service celebrating Mike's life will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 9:00am at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, California 93012. A reception will follow from 12:00 to 2:00pm.
Michael will be laid to rest at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo, California.
The family is deeply grateful to everyone who loved Mike, shared his life, and will join them in honoring his memory.
