Darryl Lee Nasworthy, 73, of Rochelle, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ralph Griffin officiating.
Mr. Nasworthy was born September 9, 1952, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Jimmy Lee Nasworthy and Patricia Lois Conner Lynn. He served his country honorably in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division. He enjoyed watching the Florida Gators, listening to old rock-n-roll music, old cars, fishing and knowing that he was able to serve his country. Mr. Nasworthy attended Salem Baptist Church in Ben Hill County.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Lee Lewis Nasworthy; children: Kellie Raulerson and Phillip Brian Nasworthy (Tess) both of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren: Shayla McConnell, Austin Nasworthy, Alexis Ceto and Joshua Raulerson; 3 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Nasworthy, and a step son, Beny Peretz.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
