Janice Marie Teto, 69, of Knightsville Manor in Cranston, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 31, 2026. She was the mother of Lori Teto Reilly and the late Maryanne Teto.
Born in Providence, RI she was the daughter of the late Marie (Petrucci) DiBiasio and the late Pasco DiBiasio Sr. She is also survived by her siblings: Linda Cournoyer, Pasco DiBiasio Jr., Nancy Stravato, and Richard DiBiasio. Janice was also the sister of the late Sharyn Bianco.
Janice raised her family in Coventry and also spent five memorable years living in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
She was a hairstylist for many years before retiring and loved being a Mom and Nonna more than anything in the world. Throughout her life she was always helping others and devoted her time to various organizations throughout the community. She loved animals and was a proud breast cancer survivor.
Besides her daughter Lori Marie, her memory will be cherished by her God daughter Spaina Calicchia Cruz along with Nicholas and Aires Bettencourt, who she considered sons.
“Nonna” will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Juliet Love Reilly, Angel Marie Reilly, and Adriel Rocco Bettencourt.
Visitation at the funeral home is respectfully omitted.
Relatives and friends are invited to a mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Friday August 7th at 11am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston to celebrate Janice’s life.
Burial will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Please omit flowers. Donations in her memory may be made to RISPCA or St. Mary’s Feast Society.
