
HOLLIS- Ann Rebecca Grandmaison, 67, of Hollis, passed away in her home on July 24, 2026, after a yearlong battle with stage 3 throat cancer.
Ann was born in Portland, Maine, on December 28,1958, to Jane Edington.
After graduating from Bonny Eagle High School, she went on to study farm management at the University of Maine Orono.
Ann worked in the healthcare field, first as an EMT and later as a direct support professional providing in-home care. She was so proud to be able to work all the way through her cancer treatment.
Ann loved pony racing, showing donkeys, her boxer Maggie, and listening to rock and roll on WBLM.
Ann was predeceased by her husband Donald Grandmaison Sr., who passed away in 2017.
Ann is survived by her mother Jane Edington, her three siblings Alecia Freeman, Robyn McCalmon, Will Edington. Her three children Scott Pingree wife Amber, Sarah Merrill husband Jacob, Samantha Pingree fiancée Paul. Grandchildren: Bailey, Jayden, Logan and Redmon.
A service will be held on Saturday August 1st at 1pm at the Hollis Center Baptist church on 388 Hollis Rd. Hollis Center
