BUXTON & Biddeford- Amanda Lynn Perrin, age 41, passed away on July 24, 2026, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda Lynn Perrin. We find comfort in knowing she was surrounded by the love of her children and family during her final days.
Amanda had an infectious laugh and a playful sense of humor that made people smile. She loved joking around, making silly faces in selfies with her kiddos, and was often the life of the party. She loved iced coffee, music, bright colors, and funky hats that reflected her fun and vibrant personality. Her contagious energy and beautiful spirit brought laughter wherever she went.
Although addiction changed the course of Amanda's life and deeply affected everyone who loved her, it was never the whole story. Those who knew Amanda before addiction remember a vibrant young woman full of laughter, kindness, and life. Through every chapter, her children remained close to her heart, and her love for them never wavered.
Amanda is survived by her daughter, Kayla Gendrolis, and Kayla's longtime boyfriend, Josh Plummer; her sons, Jacob St. Pierre and Colten Perrin; her mother, Debbie Ellis, and Debbie's longtime partner, Rusty Pinkham; her grandparents, Barbara and Malcolm Pottle; her brother, Mike Ellis; her sisters, Lisa Charles and Nicole Collins; the father of her daughter and lifelong friend, Scott Gendrolis; Scott's parents, Stacy and Mike Gendrolis; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Amanda was predeceased by the love of her life, Troy Franklin, and her brother, David Ellis.
Though Amanda's journey was not an easy one, her family finds comfort in knowing she is finally at peace. She will be remembered for her laughter, bright smile, colorful spirit, love of music, and the joy she brought to those who loved her.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever at peace.
Burial will be private at Harding Cemetery in Standish.
