Diane M. DiChiara, of North Reading, MA, passed away peacefully at home on July 21, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones, after a long battle with cancer. She was 78.
Diane was the beloved wife of 56 years to Michael F. DiChiara. She was the devoted mother of Michael DiChiara Jr. and Michelle DiChiara. Cherished sister of Charles Femino and his wife Cyndie of Melrose, Louis Femino and his wife Joanne of Wilmington, the late Paul Femino and his surviving wife Angelina of Chelsea, and the late Angela Mahoney formerly of Malden. Sister-in-law of Ralph and Joanne DiChiara, of North Reading. She is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Diane was the daughter of the late Charles and Celia (Torrone) Femino formerly of Malden, and daughter-in-law of the late Nicholas and Carmen (Ruo) DiChiara formerly of Medford and North Reading.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Wednesday, July 29th, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Theresa Church, 63 Winter St., North Reading at 10:30 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
