GORMAN, Nancy E. (Lake) age 80 of Walpole, formerly of Roslindale, passed away at her home on July 22, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Gorman, Jr. Loving mother of Lori Hamel and her husband Brian of Foxboro, Joseph P. Gorman III (BPD) of Walpole, and Jennifer Gorman and her fiancé Justin Fitzgerald of Walpole. Cherished sister of Albert E. Lake, Jr. and his late wife Helen, and the late Richard J. Lake. Nancy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Nancy was known for her quick wit and dry humor by all who knew her. She loved family gatherings, a day trip to the casino, scratching her lottery tickets, a good lobster roll, the occasional T-Bone steak on the grill and spending time with her new kitty Paddy. Though she asked for little, she gave so much, and she will be dearly missed.
Visiting hours will be held at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Monday, July 27th from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, July 28th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre Street, West Roxbury at 10am. Interment Mount Benedict Cemetery.
