Edward Myslinski Jr, age 86, passed away on July 19, 2026at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on March 7, 1940 in Holyoke, son of the late Edward Myslinski Sr and Nellie (Lopata) Myslinski. Edward served in the National Guard. He was an athlete who loved playing all types of sports, but especially liked boxing. He also loved music and was an expert drummer. His favorite band was Tower of Power, whom he’d attend any show he was able to. He is survived by his son John Myslinski and his wife Kathryn M. of Chicopee; two daughters, Lori Myslinski of Salsbury and Lynne Myslinski of Chicopee; two sisters, Dianne Wuensch of Chicopee and Rosemary Dunigan of Chicopee; five grandchildren, Anthony Tiber, Brittney Tiber, Seth Myslinski, Isabella Myslinski and Lila Myslinski and one great grandchild, Emmett Myslinski. He is predeceased by his brother, Michael Myslinski. Calling hours will be held on Monday July 27, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Prayer service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery.
