Obituary

In loving memory of Patricia Huang

July 29th, 1955 to July 7th, 2026

Patricia lived a life shaped by faith, kindness, and perseverance. She held an unwavering love for others and believed every person deserved to be welcomed and cared for. Born in Taiwan on July 29th, 1955, Patricia emigrated with her family to Andover, Massachusetts in 1986, embracing the challenge of building a new life away from everything she had ever known.

Never one to stay idle, Patricia founded her own travel consulting business in her fifties, PH Cruises and Tours, combining her love of people with her passion for exploring the world. With an adventurous spirit and boundless curiosity, she set foot on every continent, including Antarctica. For her, travel was never simply about collecting destinations. It was about discovery, connection, and taking as many pictures as possible. Through her work, she shared that joy with so many, helping families and friends create unforgettable experiences.

Throughout much of her life, Patricia faced health challenges, yet she never allowed them to define her. Even as those challenges became more significant in her later years, she continued to meet each day with remarkable grace and quiet strength. Her life was a powerful testament to resilience and unwavering trust in God. Those who knew Patricia also knew her loving determination. It fueled her tireless work ethic, carried her through loss and hardship, and was an inspiration to those around her.

Family was the center of Patricia's world. She was a devoted wife, caring mother, proud grandmother, loving sister, aunt, cousin, and treasured friend. She also faithfully cared for her parents and her mother-in-law through their later years. Her love extended well beyond her immediate family. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends often joked that spending enough time with Patricia meant gaining a second mother. Her advice was always given with genuine care, and countless lives are richer because of her. Her faith was the foundation of everything she did. She simply believed that loving others was what God had called her to do.

Patricia is survived by her brothers James Chen (Jeannie Chen), Neville Chen (Sophia Chen), Charles Chen, sister Susan Wang (Morris Wang), children Yeechin Harvey (Michael Harvey) and Michael Huang (Florencia Yang), grandchildren Jacob, Sarah, James, and Xavier, and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband James Huang, father George Chen, mother King-Mei Chen, and sister Grace Lu.

We'll miss her deeply every day, but her memory will live with us for the rest of our lives. It lives on in the faith she nurtured, the kindness she shared, the family she cherished, and the countless lives she touched. We will carry her love with us forever.
