
Ramon Garcia, 92, of Millis, Massachusetts, passed away Friday, June 19th, in Metrowest Medical Center/Framingham, MA. He was the husband of the late Olga Garcia, who passed in 2015. They were married for 57 years.
Born in Spain, January 14, 1934, Ramon was the middle son of the late Francisco Garcia and Isabel Vasquez de Garcia. He was raised in Spain, until the age of 14. Thereafter, he & most of his family moved to Cuba.
Ramon moved to America in 1961; living in Florida, then in New York, until moving with his wife and two children, to Millis, Massachusetts in 1976.
Ramon had owned his own painting, construction/contracting, and several other companies for many years.
Ramon worked hard all his life to help and provide for his family. The Garcia family roots run deep and are many... Something, he never forgot. His favorite fruits were apples and bananas, and he consumed many, throughout the years. He loved playing dominos, was very happy whenever he would win, and, he loved teaching others how to play and strategize. He also treasured spending time with family. He'd often go to the park, walking, enjoying the weather, and playing with his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
He is survived by his two children, Ramon Garcia, Jr., of Millis and, Anna Garcia Glynn of Millis.
He was the brother of the late Paco Garcia, Gloria Villasante, Pepe Garcia, Manolo Garcia, Esther Garcia, Luis Garcia, Isabel Diaz, and Alfonso Garcia.
Ramon is survived by his grandchildren, Shawn Glynn, Mikaela Cushman & husband William, Nicholas Glynn, Danielle Sullivan & husband Robert, Nicole Poissant, and Danielle Poissant; as well as, His greatgrandchildren, Tyler Cushman, Jason Murray, Mason Cushman, Amelia Murray, Lilly Sullivan, and Nora Sullivan.
His Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 25, in St. Joseph Church, Village Street, Medway, MA at 10:00a.m.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow privately, for Family & Close Friends.
