Tony Fonseca, age 25, passed on Friday, July 17, 2026, in Alston, MA. He was born in Boston, MA, on January 31, 2001, at 1:13 a.m. to Ivo "To" Fonseca and Astrides "Mika" Barros.
He was a 2019 graduate of Charlestown High School and attended Bunker Hill Community College.
Tony worked in armed security, bringing a grounding sense of comfort everywhere he went. Tony truly lived his life to the fullest, from constantly taking vacations with friends to making every moment an opportunity to laugh and reminisce with those around him. Undeniably, he was a gift from God and proof that good times are what you make them.
He is survived by his siblings, Tatiana, Mary, and Frankie, as well as a swarm of cousins, countless friends, and beloved nieces and nephews.
For those who would like to say their final goodbyes, the wake will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Church in Dorchester on Friday, July 24, 2026. The following day, Saturday, July 26, a Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00a.m. He will then be gently laid to rest at New Calvary Cemetery in Mattapan.
