Mark Aaron Garrison, 73, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held for Mark at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. The family will visit immediately following the service.
Born December 4, 1952, in Tifton, Mark was the son of the late M. A. Garrison and Audrey Horne Garrison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Brian Garrison. He was the Traffic Control Superintendent at Reames & Son Construction and had worked in road construction most of his adult life.
Mark was a graduate of Tift County High School. He loved his family and his cats, L.C. and Sabrina. He enjoyed fishing in Panacea, Florida and riding his mule through the neighborhood daily. He also served in the Georgia National Guard.
Mark is survived by his wife, Donna Cornwell Garrison of Tifton; two daughters and one son-in-law, Christie Garrison of South Carolina and Audrey and Jed Drawdy of Tifton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Teena and Gary Wood, Carol and Eric Jones and Teresa Cooper; one grandson, Jake Lloyd; and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Tift Animal Rescue, 2207 Belmont Avenue, Tifton, GA 31794.
