BUXTON-June Sylvia Boulter Gunter, age 89 passed at her home on July 6, 2026. She was born on February 1, 1937 to Mr. Percy Roy Boulter and Emily Jessie Weeman Boulter in Standish, Maine. She married John E. Waring Gunter on August 25, 1962, in Limington, Maine. They later divorced; June never remarried. She was an educator in the Scarborough and Gorham school districts as well as a Real Estate Broker until her retirement. She is survived by her daughter Carole Ann Gunter and wife Thelma Bartell Gunter, son John Waring Gunter and wife Shirley Chang Gunter, granddaughters Abigail, Megan and Zoe Gunter, and nieces Elaine Boulter Sargent, Marilyn Boulter Brofee Paulsen and Sylvia Boulter Plumley.
Burial will be private amongst family at Dow's Corner Cemetery in Standish.
