William J. "Bill" Richman of Foxboro, formerly of Dedham, passed away surrounded by the love of his family, July 20, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed.
Bill was the beloved husband of Deb Richman, with whom he shared a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. He was the proud father of Kristen Donahue and her husband, Matthew, of Westwood, and Billy Richman of North Attleboro.
Known affectionately as "T-Bone," Bill found his greatest joy in being a grandfather to Ronan, Gavin, and Eila. Whether cheering them on, making them laugh, or simply spending time together, his grandchildren were the light of his life.
He was the loving son of Joan Mandra and the dear brother of Kevin Richman and his wife, Arleen; John Richman and his wife, Diane; Donna Castellanos and her husband, Kevin; and Brian Hurley and his wife, Erin. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A graduate of Northeastern University, Bill dedicated many years of service as a mail carrier before retiring to Leesburg, Florida. Retirement suited him well, and he embraced every opportunity to enjoy the sunshine, spending his days on the golf course, playing pickleball, and making new friends. He never passed up a trip to Dunkin' Donuts and was always happiest when surrounded by the people he loved most.
Bill will be remembered for his generous heart, easy smile, quick wit, and the genuine kindness he showed to everyone he met. Above all else, he was a devoted family man. His love for Deb, his children, and especially his grandchildren defined his life and leaves a lasting legacy that will continue through them.
Though he will be profoundly missed, Bill's memory will live on in the stories shared, the traditions he created, and the love he gave so freely to his family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bill's life and honor the remarkable man he was. Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St, Dedham on Thursday, July 23 from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, July 24 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am (accessible parking in the rear of the church). Interment private.
