
Donna M. (Rogers) Comtois, age 79, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Comtois, to whom she was wed for forty-eight years at the time of his death on December 21, 2025.
Born in Boston, MA on June 11, 1947, she was a loving daughter of the late Thomas R., Sr. and Teresa M. (Shiner) Rogers.
Donna grew up in Franklin and South Boston and was a graduate of Franklin High School. She continued her studies and received an associate’s degree from Bryant College. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Comtois worked at the former Engelhard Industries in Plainville and following a career that spanned thirty-one years, she retired with the position of Manager of Security.
A woman with a strong sense of faith, Donna was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield. Following her retirement from Engelhard, she worked with Father John Culloty at Saint Timothy’s Church in Norwood and at Saint Edward’s Parish in Medfield.
Donna’s favorite times were those spent with her adoring family ato enjoyed making new friends at her weekly visits to the Franklin Senior Center. Donna’s hobbies included antiquing, cooking, traveling, family gatherings and she’ll always be remembered for her charitable nature and the love she shared with her dog “Gunnar”.
She is survived by her devoted children, Keith B. Wood of Mansfield and Donlie M. Wood and her wife Linda of Easton. She was the cherished and proud grandmother of Kiara M. Wood and Cian B. Wood and Cian’s mother Darcie Dias. She was the dear sister of Thomas R. Rogers, Jr. of Newport, RI and his former wife Mary Jo Conroy Rogers, Christopher A. Rogers of Franklin, Lois M. Lane and her husband Bradford of South Carolina and the late Sheila A. Rogers and Matthew L. Rogers. She is also survived by her much-loved many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 28th at a time to be announced in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
