David P. Gaudette, age 72, passed away on July 13, 2026 at the Chestnut Hill Health and Rehab Center in East Longmeadow. He was born on February 4, 1954 in Chicopee, son of the late Paul Gaudette and Ruth (Bertraud) Gaudette. He was a communicant of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. He worked for the City of Chicopee on the Retirement board and also as a custodian for Chicopee Comprehensive High School for many years before he retired. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Elder Council #69 in Chicopee. David enjoyed many things, but above all he loved to spend time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Elvira M. (Sciartilli) Gaudette of Chicopee; one son, Emilio Gaudette of Chicopee and two daughters, Gemma Gaudette and her wife Cindy Parent of Chicopee and Louisa Gaudette of Chicopee.
