Obituary

WORCESTER - Danuta “Diane” Saliba, 68 of Worcester, passed away peacefully in the Odd Fellows Home after a lengthy illness.

Danuta is survived by her devoted daughter, Sylvia Galanek and her partner Jonathan Ruksnaitis of Worcester. She had three brothers, Ryszard Ptak, Michal Ptak, and Janek Ptak, all of Poland as well as several nieces and nephews. Danuta was born in Debniki, Poland, daughter of Janek and Krystyna Ptak. After moving to the United States and settling in Worcester, her family, marriage, and her daughter Sylvia were her priority. She appreciated flowers, fashion, shopping, décor, and food. She worked at Astra Zeneca in Westborough for many years. Danuta was a woman of faith and attended Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Danuta was a truly beautiful woman and had the most sincere and stunning green eyes. Her quippy and endearing sense of humor made her both beautiful on the inside as on the out.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday August 1, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Alfred Roy & Sons - Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 33 Ward St. Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
