
MaryEllen McFetridge, 65, of Bellingham died July 16 at Advinia Healthcare in Northbridge surrounded by family, following a long battle with early onset Alzheimer’s disease.
Born in Milford, May 15, 1961, the daughter of the late Donald B. and Elaine B. (Macko) McFetridge, MaryEllen was raised in Bellingham and Millis and had lived in Bellingham for most of her life.
MaryEllen had been a payroll clerk at the Wrentham Development Center for many years before retiring due to her health.
MaryEllen enjoyed sewing, quilting, going to the casinos, driving “muscle cars” and Patriots Training Camp.
MaryEllen had a heart of gold. Kind and compassionate she adored all of her family and friends. A special appreciation to Joy for all her kindness and care she provided to MaryEllen.
She is survived by her sisters, Evelyn Corbett of Bellingham and her companion Rick Swinimer of Framingham and Laurie Leeman and her husband David of Douglas.
MaryEllen is also survived by her nieces and nephew, Michael, Melissa, Erin and Kathleen and many grand nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by many cousins and friends whom she adored.
The family would like to thank Advinia Healthcare in Northbridge and Salmon Hospice for the wonderful care they provided not only for MaryEllen but for the family.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 22 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at Noon.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Medway.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 22 from 10:00-Noon in the funeral home.
