Dorothy (Dottie) Wennerholm Klein, 96 years of age, of Edgewood, Kenntucky, passed away on July 15, 2026. Dorothy was born in Ventura, California and was a resident of Ventura County for 91 years. She was born to Lauretta Rosella (Rosie) and Roy Wennerholm, Sr. on June 17, 1930. She attended Oxnard High Scholl having graduated in 1948. She attended Journalism classes at Ventura Community College. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Anacapa Chapter of the Administrative Professionals Association (formerly Professional Secretaries Association). She served as an officer of the association and was named as the Administrative Professional of the Year in the 1980s. She served as the Executive Secretary to the Plant Manager for Allis-Chalmers, having retired from there after over 25 years.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Suzanne Elizabeth Steele (Keith) of Edgewood, Kentucky and daughter and son-in-law Laura Lynn and Frank Mosqueda. She also is survived by granddaughters: Liana Rose Mosqueda, Victoria (Penny) Lynn Alford (Josh). She is also survived by grandsons Nicholas Richard Steele, Alexander Lawrence Steela and Jared Roy Mosqueda (Mason). She is also survived by her great grandchildren Carter Lawrence McMullen, Brenlee Rose Bacon, Alora Frankie Bowden, and Cian Keith Alford who adored their “GiGi.”
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence George Klein, of 54 years who passed away in 2004.

Family and friends are invited to Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Ivy Lawn Cemetery, Ventura on August 6, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 757 East Main Street, Ventura.
