GORHAM- Suzanne Mae Thayer, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at the Gosnell House after a courageous battle with Cancer and Kidney Disease.
She was born in Westbrook, Maine on January 12, 1951, a daughter of the late George E. Brackett and Viola M. (Steeves) Brackett. Suzanne attended and graduated from the Buxton Schools. After graduating, she went into working as a Chef in various restaurants and also worked at Walmart. Suzanne had many enjoyments in life such as, crocheting and camping.
She is predeceased by her parents- George E. Brackett and Viola M. (Steeves) Brackett and her brother- Stevie Brackett. Suzanne is survived by her sons- Merle and Steven Thayer, her daughter- Lydia Thayer, her sister- Becky Foley, and her grandchildren- Lilly Thayer, Zebadiah Thayer, Noble Thayer, Marliegh Thayer, Rosie Thayer and Colt Thayer who will all miss Suzanne dearly.
