Mary M. Russo, age 88 passed away to be with her lord and Savior while at Pinnacle LTC Sanford ME on July 15 2026.
She was born in Quincy MA on August 31, 1937 and was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Rooney) Kelly.
After marrying in 1955, Mary and her husband James settled in Quincy and Haverhill MA for a brief time before making their home in Andover MA where they raised three boys. Mary was a secretary at Andover HS and enjoyed over 30 yrs. of retirement. Mary was a communicant and member of St. Augustine’s church for over 50 yrs and also taught CCD classes.
She was the beloved wife of James Russo until his passing in 2001, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Patrick and his wife Mary Jane Russo of the Philippines, Michael and his wife Maryterese Russo of Lebanon, ME and Daniel and his wife Lisa Russo of Aptos, CA. She was adored by her grandchildren Shannon, James, Emily, Leah and Anthony and great grandchildren Leo, Lyla and Lainey.
Calling hours Tuesday 4-7 PM on July 21 at Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main St. Andover MA. Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass Wednesday July 22 at 1PM at St Augustine’s Church, 43 Essex St. Andover MA The Burial will take place immediately following Mass at St. Augustine’s Cemetery Andover MA.
