He later gave back to the organization by serving for many years as Scoutmaster of Medford's Troop 425, mentoring and inspiring generations of young Scouts. He also spent many years volunteering at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Medford. He gave his time to the youth of St. Francis Parish through the Boys CYO Basketball teams and the youth program. With Susan, he led marriage preparation classes welcoming soon to be married couples to the sacrament of marriage. Tim was also a volunteer coach for Medford Youth baseball for over 15 years. Above all, the moments that brought Tim the most joy were spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Davis and his wife Lisa of Gilbert, AZ, Kyle T. Davis of Fitchburg and Michael S. Davis of Medford.
