Patricia Marie Montenegro (73), of Randolph, passed away on July 14, 2026, at Boston Medical Center–Brighton. She was the beloved wife of Patricio Montenegro.
Born in Coldwater, Michigan, Patricia was the daughter of the late Richard Shemel and Charlotte (Sherman) Shemel.
Patricia was a devoted member of Congregación León de Judá. She had a warm and welcoming spirit and found great joy in opening her home and heart to others. She loved preparing meals for family and friends, traveling, and embracing the Spanish culture and community that became such an important part of her life.
In addition to her loving husband, Patricia is survived by her two brothers, Donald Shemel and Doug Shemel; her two sisters, Janet Hanselman and Barbara Hantz; four stepsons, Patricio Jr., Gonzalo, Diego and Eduardo Montenegro, as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
Following Cremation, Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
